Watch legend, Mike Gibson, create a topiary masterpiece in the garden for FREE! Starting from scratch, Mike will spend 2-days transforming one of our mature hedges on the Tobacco Leaf Lawn into a piece of art. On the third day, Saturday, April 29th, we will host a special unveiling of his work at 11:30am!
Mike Gibson is a seasoned topiary artist with 30 years of experience in transforming public spaces. He has created hundreds of topiaries and his work has been featured in magazines like ArtNews and Garden and Gun, and on popular television shows such as HGTV’s Clipped and SCETV’s Making it Grow. He has also contributed to the restoration of the famed Pearl Fryar’s Topiary Garden as the topiary artist in residence. With his passion for topiary, Mike continues to inspire the public with his creative works and unique vision.
